Associate Analyst

About the Role

Join our Transaction Advisory team to support deal origination, financial analysis, and client deliverables across African markets. This role offers exceptional exposure to high-profile transactions in infrastructure, energy, and financial services sectors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence on potential transactions
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models for valuation and scenario analysis
• Prepare client presentations, information memoranda, and pitch materials
• Research market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry dynamics
• Support senior team members in client meetings, negotiations, and deal execution
• Assist in coordinating with legal, technical, and financial advisors on transactions
• Maintain deal pipeline tracking and CRM databases

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or corporate finance
• Strong financial modeling skills including DCF, LBO, and comparable company analysis
• Excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Nice to Have

• CFA Level I or II candidate
• Experience with African markets or emerging markets
• Knowledge of infrastructure or energy sectors
• Proficiency in additional languages (French, Swahili)
